The ongoing series Poft Power Pop Corn started in 2024 and explores the influences of living at the edge of cultures and political systems.
In the staged images the photographer interweaves the soft power of US cultural exports onto the psyche shaped by catholic tradition and hard power of the Sowjet reign. Told in retrospect, the story presents a confetti made of personal and collective memories tinted by the passage of time, deep rooted sentiments as well as intercultural experience.
